Supporting Hands - public art installation
Devon Mind are running a public art installation that you can participate in alongside the exhibition; come along and join the team to decorate some hands and be a part of the art!
Supporting hands
We are inviting anyone in the community to join in and help us create a piece of artwork within Barnstaple Pannier Market while the Art and Mind exhibition takes place.
Colour, cover (paint, draw, decorate, collage) or arrange your Hands (or pairs of Hands) any way you wish. You may like to include a written message – why the hands are supporting, or what you have found supportive in the past. Please take a look at the hands already hanging in the installation for inspiration!
Devon Mind
As well as the Art and Mind exhibition and the Supporting Hands public installation, the team are on hand for a friendly chat and we have a number of activities running throughout the week. You are welcome to join us in an activity, take a seat for a moment or browse through the artwork.
